Alexander Zelentsov
Founder of three Maisons: CONCON, OBJECTS and YOZELEN. Barcelona, since 2019.
Alexander Zelentsov came to his métier from the stage. Five years as a performer with Upsala Circus in Saint Petersburg gave him the savoir-faire he still works by: timing, trust between people, and respect for the craftsmanship no audience ever sees.
In 2019 he created his first events. Since then his work has travelled from Saint Petersburg and Tbilisi to Barcelona, with stages in the Czech Republic, Sweden and Germany: dance jams in a techno club, a performance in a public library, a company festival in a castle garden.
From one passion grew three Maisons, each autonomous, each with its own identity. CONCON gives artists, locals and newcomers alike, a stage to create together. OBJECTS crafts objects made to be kept. YOZELEN creates unforgettable experiences, where guests take part instead of watching. The Maisons share resources and one standard of excellence, never one face.
Heritage and forward thinking guide every creation: keep what a place and its people already carry, and dare what has never been tried there. The material comes before the logo. One person follows each project from the first sketch to the last guest leaving, and what is learned is transmitted to the artists and artisans who join the next one.
