Separation. A night of solo performances at APE Studios, Barcelona, 21 November 2024
noun
The action or state of moving or being moved apart.
- Separation from parents.
- Separation from home.
- Separation of head from body.
- Liquid separation.
- The separation process.
- Separation of one piece of apple from another piece of apple.
That was the theme of the night. Every artist took it somewhere of their own.
Six performances, one theme, then everyone dances.
Dancers from very different styles in one room: vogue, contemporary, breaking, physical theatre, jazz funk, waacking, acro-dance. Solos and duets with seamless transitions between them, a DJ set by Hedonista, and a dance jam where anyone could join in.
We made it ourselves, from the concept and the posters to the teaser films below. Només aquí is Catalan for "only here".
