The night

N1 Partners closed its partner year in Barcelona under one line: because we can. A ring of light over the crowd, dancers in red, a prize draw with a helicopter on stage, and a live set by Tommy Cash.

Next to the stage stood the Patch Bar. Guests made their own keychain, tee or tote bag from 21 patches drawn for N1, a full varsity alphabet and trays of acrylic letters. Everyone left with something nobody else had.

Process

Stitched for the night

Every patch started as a production sheet for the embroidery machine: size, stitch count, thread colours in order. The N1 logo was stitched straight onto the pieces.

The test run

We shot the whole story ourselves on a Canon PowerShot from 2006, flash always on. It starts at home, where the crew pressed the first shirts to check every patch, every letter and the heat.
