The story
For the city's Night of Museums, Upsala Circus split its evening into four parts and named each one after an element. Fire, Earth, Air and Water, one after another, from daylight to dark.
One evening, five hours, four elements and more than 500 guests on the lawn, on the pond and on stage.

FireUpsala Circus artists and the youngest rebels
The main fire performance of the night, and the loudest part. Upsala Circus artists came out on stilts and with giant puppets, then a carnival took over, led by the circus's youngest rebels: drums, flying basketballs, confetti and coloured smoke across the lawn.
- CostumesI came up with the looks for the fire act.
- ConceptI helped invent what happens across the whole performance.
- HostI led the show on the night, microphone in hand.

EarthThe band World Around
A live set by the band World Around. After the carnival, the evening came down to earth with live music on the lawn.

AirDmitry Maksimachev and the Big Stereophonic Orchestra
Strings, brass and voice on stage, under coloured light, as it got dark outside.

WaterSUP surfers on the pond
A performance by SUP surfers on the pond. Formations on joined boards, handstands and a slow parade on the water as the sun went down.

The poster
The illustrated poster of the night: four elements around one blue pool, with ribbons naming who plays where.
