Emotional reactions that arise under the pressure of circumstances, often against the will of the person who feels them.
They come from having to adapt to a situation you did not choose. They can leave stress, irritation, or quietly pushed-down feelings behind. Nine artists brought theirs to the floor.
Dance culture meets rave culture. One night to see what happens.
MKHOLOD AK 2.0 was an experiment. First nine solo performances, from butoh to vogue, that guests walked through one by one. Then the floor opened into a dance jam, and the jam slowly turned into a rave.
That is what we keep testing: dancers and ravers on one floor, stage and club in one room. We produced everything ourselves, from the idea to the teaser films below.
